Let’s not talk about buses “reserve” to Jews, but it’s just as well. Sadiq Khan last week inaugurated the new 310 bus line, which now provides a direct link between two areas of the capital with a large Jewish community: Golders Green, in the northwest, and Stamford Hill, in the northeast. The Mayor of London may well be pleased about it, but this new line looks more like a defeat for the “living together” with an Anglo-Saxon twist. It now allows its users to avoid Finsbury Park, where a large Muslim community lives and where anti-Semitic incidents and attacks have increased in recent months.
